Why Does It Feel Like Life Chose Everyone Else First? The Akashic Wisdom of Adhik Maas and Chid Akash

Spiritual depiction of Adhik Maas transforming from the orphan month into Purushottama Maas within the infinite space of Chid Akash.

There is a question that surfaces quietly in many Akashic sessions.

Sometimes it arrives through conversations about love.

Sometimes through business.

Sometimes through purpose, fertility, health, visibility, creativity, or belonging.

Yet beneath all these concerns often sits a deeper question:

Why does it feel like life is unfolding everywhere except here?

You see someone announce their engagement.

Someone else buys their dream home.

A colleague launches a business that seems to grow overnight.

A friend becomes a parent.

Another receives the opportunity you've secretly been praying for.

Meanwhile, your own life can feel suspended between what has ended and what has not yet begun.

Not because nothing is happening.

Not because growth is absent.

But because the outer evidence seems strangely disconnected from the amount of inner work that has taken place.

You have healed.

You have reflected.

You have invested in yourself.

You have faced uncomfortable truths.

You have said no to what no longer aligns.

You have followed the breadcrumbs of your soul.

And still, there are moments when life feels paused.

Not wrong.

Not broken.

Simply paused.

Like standing in an airport departure lounge while every flight seems to leave except yours.

What I consistently notice in Akashic sessions is that these periods often carry a profound misunderstanding.

People assume they are being delayed.

The Records often reveal something entirely different.

The Forgotten Month No One Wanted

Thousands of years ago, Vedic sages told a remarkable story.

It begins with a month that did not belong.

An extra month.

A thirteenth month.

A disruption to the cosmic order.

This month was known as Adhik Maas.

Because it had no planetary transition associated with it, it was considered unusual.

Outside the established structure.

The twelve zodiac deities refused responsibility for it.

The celestial powers ignored it.

The month became known as Malamasa.

The impure month.

The rejected month.

The cosmic orphan.

No weddings were held.

No major worldly ventures were encouraged.

No celebrations marked its arrival.

Imagine being the month no one wanted.

The month that belonged nowhere.

The month that seemed forgotten by the cosmos itself.

And yet that is precisely where the story becomes extraordinary.

The Hidden Orphan Within Us

A pattern I see repeatedly in the Akashic Records is that people rarely come seeking answers for the question they are actually carrying.

They ask about money.

Relationships.

Purpose.

Visibility.

Career.

Business growth.

Yet beneath these concerns often sits another question.

A quieter question.

A more vulnerable one.

Why does it feel like life chose everyone else first?

The woman who longs for a conscious relationship.

The entrepreneur whose business feels invisible despite years of devotion.

The healer whose gifts are profound yet remain largely unseen.

The creative soul whose work has not yet reached the people it was created for.

The person who has spent years healing ancestral wounds and wonders when life will finally begin to feel easier.

These experiences are more common than most people realise.

And this is why the myth of Adhik Maas continues to matter.

Because it speaks directly to one of humanity's deepest fears:

The fear of being overlooked.

When Rejection Leads Directly to the Divine

According to the ancient story, Adhik Maas became so burdened by rejection that it approached Lord Vishnu.

Not a planetary deity.

Not a zodiac guardian.

Not a celestial administrator.

The Supreme Consciousness itself.

The Source beyond all forms.

The month poured out its grief.

Its loneliness.

Its exclusion.

And Vishnu responded with words that changed its destiny forever.

"Because no one claims you, I claim you myself."

In that moment, the rejected month became Purushottama Maas.

The Month of the Supreme.

The most spiritually potent period in the entire Vedic calendar.

Its rejection became its initiation.

Its exclusion became its elevation.

Its apparent misfortune became its greatest blessing.

There is profound wisdom hidden here.

Not every closed door is a punishment.

Not every delay is a mistake.

Not every season of invisibility is evidence that you are off track.

Sometimes life is removing you from one order so you can enter another.

Chid Akash: The Space Beyond Timelines

This is where the story intersects beautifully with the Akashic Records.

In yogic traditions, Chid Akash refers to the infinite field of consciousness.

The vast awareness from which all experiences emerge.

Not physical space.

Not mental space.

Not emotional space.

But consciousness itself.

When I enter the Akashic Records, I often encounter this same quality.

The Records do not feel like a filing cabinet in the sky.

They feel alive.

Dynamic.

Infinite.

A living field of intelligence.

A boundless ocean of awareness.

In many ways, Chid Akash can be understood as the infinite field from which the Akashic Records arise.

The Records are not separate from consciousness.

They are expressions of it.

And this is why the story of Adhik Maas is so powerful.

When the month was rejected by the ordinary cosmic order, it fell directly into Chid Akash.

Directly into Source.

Directly into the Infinite.

The Difference Between Delay and Ripening

One of the strongest insights that repeatedly emerges in Akashic sessions is this:

Not everything that appears delayed is delayed.

Some things are ripening.

There is a difference.

A delay suggests something is arriving later than it should.

Ripening suggests something is becoming ready.

A fruit picked too early lacks sweetness.

A relationship entered too early lacks stability.

A business scaled too early lacks foundations.

A purpose expressed too early lacks depth.

Modern culture worships speed.

The soul appears to value readiness.

This often creates confusion because we evaluate our lives using external timelines while the soul is operating according to entirely different rhythms.

What If This Season Is Preparing You?

A woman recently came into a session believing she had missed her opportunity for love.

Another was convinced her business had stalled.

A third feared she had somehow lost her purpose.

Yet the Records revealed something fascinating.

None of them were stuck.

All of them were undergoing profound internal reorganisation.

The old identity was dissolving.

The old patterns were ending.

The old structures could no longer carry who they were becoming.

From the outside, nothing appeared to be happening.

From the soul's perspective, everything was happening.

This is one of the great paradoxes of spiritual transformation.

The most important growth often occurs before visible evidence appears.

The Three Invitations of Adhik Maas

Release the Tyranny of Timelines

The soul does not compare itself to your classmates.

The soul does not care whether success arrived at thirty or sixty.

The soul evolves through experience.

Not deadlines.

Withdraw Energy From External Authority

Astrology can be beautiful.

Human Design can be valuable.

The Akashic Records can be transformational.

Yet spiritual maturity asks us to remember something deeper.

No system should replace our relationship with our own consciousness.

You are not here to be governed by the stars.

You are here to dance with them.

Enter Chid Akash

Beyond the noise.

Beyond comparison.

Beyond self-improvement.

Beyond endless striving.

There exists a field of awareness that has never been rushed, rejected, abandoned, or left behind.

This is Chid Akash.

And this is where true spiritual sovereignty begins.

Perhaps Nothing Has Gone Wrong

Perhaps you are not behind.

Perhaps you are becoming.

Perhaps what appears to be a delay is actually a preparation.

Perhaps what feels invisible is quietly gathering strength.

Perhaps what seems uncertain is inviting you into a deeper relationship with yourself.

Every time I journey into the Records around Adhik Maas, one question continues to return:

What if the parts of our lives we judge most harshly are the very places where the Divine is trying to meet us most intimately?

The orphan month became the month of the Supreme.

Not despite its rejection.

Because of what that rejection revealed.

Perhaps there is wisdom in that for all of us.

Work With Me

If this reflection resonates, perhaps the question is not:

"How do I make life move faster?"

Perhaps the question is:

"What is this season trying to teach me that another season could not?"
